To ring in the festive season, Moët & Chandon brought a touch of Parisian celebration to Sydney and lifted it into the sky. After an intimate dinner in a harborside residence, where guests moved from champagne tower to carefully paired courses, the evening culminated in a 500-drone performance above Sydney Harbour, visible far beyond the private setting.
Our drone show storytelling: from Paris to Sydney, from bottle to sky
The 500-drone sequence was designed as a short, elegant journey, from the heart of the brand’s heritage to the energy of Sydney in summer, and from a single bottle to a whole city invited to celebrate. Each figure carried a clear visual and emotional meaning:
- Moët & Chandon logo (the signature in the sky) The show opened with the Moët & Chandon logo floating over the harbour, like a golden signature on the night. It set the tone immediately: this was not just a light display, but a brand’s festive message delivered at city scale.
- The champagne cork (the moment the celebration begins) A stylized cork appeared and “popped” upwards in light, echoing the exact moment every celebration starts—that first, unmistakable sound of a bottle being opened. It was a playful, kinetic way to translate the feeling of a toast into motion in the sky.
- Eiffel Tower + “From Paris to World” (roots and reach) The Eiffel Tower then rose above the water, accompanied by the inscription “From Paris to World.” This formation connected Moët & Chandon to its Parisian and Champagne roots, while showing how its festive spirit travels far beyond France, turning every city into a place for celebration.
- Sydney Opera House + “From Paris to Sydney” (a bridge between hemispheres) The scene shifted to the unmistakable silhouette of the Sydney Opera House, paired with “From Paris to Sydney.” In one transition, the drones drew a bridge between continents: French heritage meeting Australian summer, European grandeur meeting the relaxed elegance of Sydney Harbour.

- Gift box + “Happy Holidays!” (the universal language of the season) A luminous gift box appeared, carrying the message “Happy Holidays!” This was the show’s most universal symbol: a simple, instantly recognizable reminder that the end of the year is about giving, sharing, and being together—whether in Paris, Sydney, or anywhere in between.
- The bottle emerging from the gift (the hero of the celebration) As the box “opened,” an iconic Moët & Chandon bottle rose out of it in light. This transformation turned the product into a narrative element: not just an object on the table, but the centerpiece of the holiday ritual—the bottle you open to mark the moment.
- “Celebrate with Moët” (an invitation in the sky) The words “Celebrate with Moët” followed as a clear call-to-action, turning a beautiful image sequence into a direct invitation. It was the point where the story in the sky met each guest’s personal decision to raise a glass.
- Drone fireworks (bubbles without the smoke) The show built to a crescendo with a burst of “fireworks” made entirely of drones: expanding circles and sparkling clusters that evoked champagne bubbles and festive explosions, but without smoke, debris, or noise. A modern, elegant alternative to traditional pyrotechnics — perfectly in line with a brand that values refinement.
- Logo + “With love” (a personal sign-off) The performance closed with the Moët & Chandon logo returning to the centre of the sky, accompanied by the words “With love.” It felt less like an advertisement and more like a handwritten note, addressed simultaneously to the guests at the dinner and to everyone watching from the shores of Sydney Harbour.

For a city used to fireworks, seeing a champagne story told entirely in light was a quiet kind of spectacle, cinematic and unmistakably Moët.
Lighting up celebrations (and campaigns) in Australia
For Cyberdrone, bringing this story to life above Sydney Harbour was not a long-distance experiment. With a dedicated presence in Australia and fleets already based in the region, staging a large-scale drone show in the southern hemisphere is as straightforward as choosing the right bottle for the occasion: the technology, team, and drones are already there.
For brands like Moët & Chandon, this kind of performance works on two levels at once. It’s part of the celebration, a shared moment guests will remember long after the last glass is emptied. At the same time, it’s a powerful piece of seasonal marketing: a highly visible scene over an iconic harbor, perfect for photos, video, and social content in the run-up to the holiday period.
A drone show turns a festive launch into something larger than a single night. It becomes a story that travels: across the harbor, across timelines, and across markets—exactly where a global house of celebration is meant to be.
